Every theatrical civilization has built a foundational relationship with the question of the image. Starting from the last century this relationship has known a new centrality, to the point of defining an unprecedented perspective that characterizes these last decades. In addition to the contamination of the scenic space through increasingly decisive technological elements, the discursive production concerning the theater scene also defines a centrality that deserves further study and a strong, necessary transversality.
