The aim of this article is identifying some points of contact between, what I’ve been calling from over twenty five years, “New theatrology” and Performance Studies, or – if you prefer – among continental theater studies (and especially Italian) and theater studies of Anglo-American area, looking also to the new frontiers of spectator’s cognitive effects.
