Giovanna Costanzo – Vinicio Busacchi (eds.),La filosofia alla prova dell'esistenza. Marcel, Jaspers, Ricœur,
Abstract
The volume edited by Giovanna Costanzo and Vinicio Busacchi reconstructs the philosophical intersections among Karl Jaspers, Gabriel Marcel and the young Paul Ricoeur, centering on Ricoeur's 1948 work as a formative lens for his subsequent hermeneutical development. The eight essays gathered in the volume illuminate, from distinct yet convergent perspectives, the irriducible tension between existential finitude and trascendence that constitutes the speculative core of twentieth-century european existential philosophy.
