The article explores, in its thematic lines, language, lexicon and style, the prose contained in the book The Garden Beyond the Sea. Poems and short stories by Maria Gabriella Adamo. The aim is to show, through some theoretical suggestions by Bachelard, Marchese, Greimas, Durand, Bajomée, Chevalier et Gheerbrant, how much these proses contain an echo of the author’s voice, how much they participate in her personality and her existential, human, professional and artistic journey, how much they resonate with her affections, her passions, her places, and her dreams. The itineraries that the article outlines are constructed through methods and procedures dear to the author, around the centrality of répétition and isotopias, and lead the reader to the discovery of a universe of beauty, whose precious memory it is hoped to preserve and transform into a legacy not to be lostDownloads
