In this paper we consider a first order quasilinear non homogenoeus hyperbolic system describing viscoelastic processes. A full classification of first order local conservation laws admitted by such a rate-type model has been given. Classes of material response functions involved in the viscoelastic system under interest allowing the existence of the corresponding conservation laws have been obtained.Downloads
