APRIRE IL QUADRO. POTERE, SAPERE E IMMAGINAZIONE NELL’OPERA DI AGNÈS VARDA

Abstract

Il saggio intende riflettere intorno alla nozione di cadrage nell’opera di Agnès Varda, mettendo in luce le influenze surrealiste, declinate al femminile, che caratterizzano il tentativo di Varda di portare il cadrage fuori dai suoi bordi. Inoltre, a partire dai trittici, in cui Varda complica ed estende il cadrage, si propone una riflessione sulla nozione di fuori campo.

The paper aims to reflect on the notion of cadrage in the Agnès Varda’s work, highlighting the surrealist influences, declined in the feminine, that characterise Varda’s attempt to bring cadrage outside its borders. In addition, starting with triptychs, in which Varda complicates and extends the cadrage, a reflection is proposed on the notion of the off-screen.
