Abstract

In this paper we present the results obtained from the analysis of ground deformations time-series measured on the Sciara del Fuoco(Stromboli volcano) by THEODOROS(THEOdolite and Distancemeter Robot Observatory of Stromboli) monitoring system. The data set is affected by problems due to missing data and offsets produced by both periodical maintenances and technical failures of the system.In the paper it is discussed the criteria considered to overcome such drawbacks. Statistical analysis has been performed on the data set in order to characterize the ground deformation trends of the investigated area. [DOI: 10.1685/CSC06122] About DOI
