Abstract

The morphisms in the categories of the simplicial complexes are able to model a lot of transformations used in graphics. We study some theoretical aspects of such combinatoric objects. Let M15_SorrentiBonanzinga0.png denote the exterior algebra over a M15_SorrentiBonanzinga1.png vector space M15_SorrentiBonanzinga2.png. Let M15_SorrentiBonanzinga3.png be a simplicial complex on the set of vertexes M15_SorrentiBonanzinga4.png, we write M15_SorrentiBonanzinga5.png for the ideal of M15_SorrentiBonanzinga0.png generated by all monomials M15_SorrentiBonanzinga7.png, M15_SorrentiBonanzinga8.png. We study the vanishing and non vanishing of reduced simplicial cohomology groups of a simplicial complex M15_SorrentiBonanzinga3.png and a of a certain subcomplex of M15_SorrentiBonanzinga3.png when M15_SorrentiBonanzinga5.png has linear resolution or when it is a lexsegment ideal.
