A semi-Lagrangian Discontinuous Galerkin method for efficient atmospheric chemistry modelling.

A discretization approach for the scalar advection equation is introduced, which combines the accuracy and flexibility of the Discontinuous Galerkin method with the computational efficiency and robustness of Semi-Lagrangian techniques.
