There are several papers in graphs theory where are studied algebraic properties of a simple graph
. If
is the polynomial ring over a field
of characteristic zero,
is said of linear type if the symmetric and the Rees algebra of its edge ideal
over
are coincident. A class of graphs
of linear type are the Cohen-Macaulay graphs with no even cycles and vertex covering number 3. The above graphs have good properties and a classification of them can be see in [1].References [1] R.H.
