Abstract

Starting from the characterization of the static condensation procedure for mixed hybridized methods, we use Helmholtz decompositions to obtain simpler local mapping problems that can be inverted in a more accurate way. Moreover, we extend the variational characterization of static condensation to more general saddle–point formulations. [DOI: 10.1685 / CSC06168] About DOI
