On actions of the additive group on the Weyl algebra

Abstract

We construct classes of examples of H−coactions and H−Galois coactions on the Weyl algebra in characteristic p > 0 where H is the function algebra of the additive group of dimension p2. In particular we show that the main result obtained in a preceeding paper [G. Restuccia and H.-J. Schneider, J. Algebra 261, 229 (2003)] cannot be generalized to non-commutative algebras.
