Contemporary architectural theory has produced new representational spaces (Lefebvre) that bring into question the traditional image of the bourgeois haven. The article analyzes how the idea of home is no longer represented as a refuge from the external world and a stable spatial center. It is instead characterized by instability, dispersion, sometimes estrangement and, ultimately, by the loss of a spatial-emotional center. This type of representation of home is put in relation with those socio-cultural factors that are redefining the idea of home in the Humanities.Descargas
