Il contributo tratta di un paragrafo degli Pneumatica di Erone di Alessandria. Dopo una breve contestualizzazione dell’autore e della disciplina, viene presentato il testo del paragrafo e la traduzione italiana. Il passo eroniano viene poi commentato analizzandone il rapporto con le opere precedenti aventi lo stesso argomento e le riprese nei secoli successivi, come esempio del Fortleben moderno della pneumatica antica.
The contribution deals with a paragraph from the Pneumatica of Hero of Alexandria. After a quick contextualization of the author and the discipline, the text of the paragraph and the translation into Italian are presented. The Heronian passage is then commented on by analyzing its relationship with previous works having the same subject and the revivals in the following centuries, thus showing the modern Fortleben of ancient pneumatics.
