Author Guidelines

Gli articoli presentati per la pubblicazione devono essere precedentemente proposti verbalmente durante l’assemblea annuale della Classe di Lettere, Filosofia e Belle Arti dell’Accademia Peloritana dei Pericolanti. L’invito alla pubblicazione nella rivista è aperto anche a studiosi esterni all’Accademia; in questo caso, tuttavia, il contributo dovrà essere presentato da un socio ordinario della Classe. Gli autori esterni all’Accademia potranno presentare il proprio contributo durante l’assemblea annuale, personalmente o tramite un socio. L’articolo sarà in seguito sottoposto a revisione da parte di almeno due pari. Completato con successo il processo di valutazione, l’articolo sarà accettato per la pubblicazione ad accesso aperto, a condizione che non sia stato precedentemente pubblicato o inviato a un’altra rivista. Gli articoli accettati saranno infine pubblicati on line. Non sono previsti addebiti per la presentazione, l’elaborazione o la pubblicazione.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
