The Bruchinae (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae) fauna of Sicily is reviewed, and an annotated checklist is presented, along with the taxa distribution by the island's provinces. In total, 76 species arranged in 8 genera are listed as the seed beetle fauna of Sicily (45 Bruchidius spp., 19 Bruchus spp., 4 Serratobruchidius spp., 3 Spermophagus spp., and Callosobruchus spp., one Acanthoscelides sp., Paleoacanthoscelides sp. and Pseudopachymerina sp.), which constitutes approximately 19% of the Palaearctic Bruchinae fauna. Additionally, the questionable or problematic records from Sicily of seven species are evaluated separately.Downloads
