Territori digitali e apprendimento: l’esperienza iBlob

La società post-moderna si erige sempre più su una nuova geografia, fatta di innumerevoli interconnessioni digitali che modellano l’attuale architettura del nostro spazio di vita. Uno spazio esperienziale che valica i confini fisici e si estende all’universo mediale del web, riconfigurandone modi, tempi e caratteri del comunicare e dell’interagire con il medium stesso e con gli altri. In tal senso, allora, è utile riflettere sui riverberi che tale metamorfosi della società odierna, dovuta ai media digitali, ha avuto sui modi dell’apprendere, anche in considerazione del fatto che l’educazione da sempre vive nelle tecnologie e in una sorta di reciproca influenza da forma e assume la forma dei mezzi che utilizza. Our post-modern society is increasingly constructed on new foundations formed by the countless digital interconnections that shape the architecture of our living spaces. It is an experiential space which goes beyond physical barriers and enters the universe of the web, changing the ways, the characteristics and the timing of how we communicate and interact, both with the medium itself and with each other. It is therefore useful to reflect on what sort of impact these changes in our society have had on learning, thanks to digital media, and on how education and technology are always linked in a reciprocal relationship that is defined by and helps to define the instruments it makes use of.
