An inverse simulation methodology is applied for the optimization of the pirouette and the slalom maneuvers described in the ADS-33 specifications. The optimization process is performed using a genetic algorithm: defined the desired trajectory, the algorithm provides the correct pilot inputs necessary to reproduce the maneuver.
