Il contributo esamina il sogno di Semele nel settimo libro dei Dionysiaca di Nonno di Panopoli e quelli di Aura e Dioniso nel libro conclusivo. In particolare, l’attenzione si concentra sulla presenza in tutti e tre i casi di un albero di alloro o di mirto, o come oggetto del sogno stesso oppure come elemento esterno in grado di propiziarlo e di orientarne il contenuto.
The contribution examines the dream of Semele in book 7 of the Dionysiaca of Nonnus of Panopolis and those of Aura and Dionysus in book 48. In particular, the attention is focused on the presence in all these cases of a tree of laurel or myrtle, or as object of the dream itself or as an external element capable of propitiating it and directing its content.
